Google introduced “Handwrite” on their blog on July 26, 2012.  Handwrite is a program that allows users with touch screen mobile devices to write with their finger on the screen to conduct searches.  It even utilizes the auto complete feature as well.

They group it with other features such as “speaking your queries,” “getting results before you finish typing” and “search by image.”  Google says they want to create as many ways as possible to interact with their searchers.

Their goal is to make their search product better and more accessible than anyone else’s.
