Farmers Insurance, the largest auto insurance company in California and the third-largest personal lines insurer in the nation, has announced the carrier has entered into a partnership agreement with the LA Galaxy MLS soccer team, and The Home Depot Center, the largest soccer-exclusive stadium in the MLS. As part of the two-year agreement, both the LA Galaxy and The Home Depot Center will collaborate with Farmers Insurance to promote the Farmers brand both inside and around the stadium.

"We are extremely excited to have partnered with the LA Galaxy and The Home Depot Center, two well-known entities in the world of U.S. soccer," said Luisa Acosta-Franco, Vice President of Multicultural Marketing for Farmers Insurance. "This partnership allows for us to build on our commitment of teaching life lessons on and off the field through the sport of soccer."

To kick off their partnership with the LA Galaxy and The Home Depot Center, Farmers is hosting 4,000 fans from throughout Los Angeles tonight to enjoy a summer evening of soccer fun at The Home Depot Center. In addition, prior to the game on the field Farmers will present a $10,000 check to the Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation and The Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation for the "Camps for Kids" program.

This two-year partnership further validates Farmers' commitment to soccer, a sport that goes beyond a pastime; it can also serve to inspire and educate children both on and off the field. This year Farmers launched Juega y Aprende (Play & Learn), two-hour skill-building soccer clinics that teach kids the skills to succeed in soccer and in life. The campaign was created to serve as an educational tool for kids through their passion for soccer.

The LA Galaxy partnership includes the right to use "Official Partner of the LA Galaxy," as well as the status of "Official Insurance Partner of the LA Galaxy."

The Home Depot Center partnership gives Farmers the right to be named as "Official Founding Partner" of The Home Depot Center; and to be named as "Official Insurance Company" of The Home Depot Center.

Over the course of the agreement, the companies will also collaborate together on soccer promotions and events during the LA Galaxy's regular season games at The Home Depot Center.
