This isn’t exactly Google Penquin/Panda news, but it’s certainly worth sharing.  Facebook wants to stop malware and other fraudulent type of technology that is used to create fake likes.

Facebook says that their automated tools can better detect fake likes and remove them.  It also said that this is likely to impact less than 1% of the system’s total likes.

They did not say this specifically, but I would expect that very few sites will comprise most of the 1%.  You can expect that fake “likes” will have a similar impact on your Facebook page ranking as bad content as on google rankings.
